Precision Nutrition for Soil

Samurai Terra Grow and Bloom are high‑purity, mineral‑based soil nutrients, each precisely formulated for its respective stage—and fortified with SmartZen®, to elevate standard feeding into scientific performance.

Why Samurai Terra Outperforms Standard Feeds

 • SmartZen® — the hidden engine inside Samurai Terra — Drives nutrient uptake, photosynthesis, and yield gains of up to 8 % over regular NPK recipes
 • Stage‑specific formulations — Grow and Bloom options tailored with perfect macro and micronutrient balance for soil chemistry refined, technical‑grade
 • Soil‑smart chemistry — Engineered to match soil’s complex nutrient interactions, supporting consistent health and growth

SmartZen®: Built-In Bio-Stimulant Power

SmartZen® is Shogun’s exclusive bio-stimulant package, designed to give plants more than just nutrients. By stimulating natural plant processes, SmartZen helps crops:

Push yields further
Proven in independent trials to deliver up to 8% higher harvests compared to standard base feeds.

Maximise efficiency
Enhances nutrient uptake and use, ensuring plants get the most from every drop of feed.

Reduce stress impact
Supports resilience to heat, drought, and environmental fluctuations by strengthening key metabolic pathways.

Boost energy production
Increases chlorophyll and photosynthetic efficiency, keeping plants powering forward through the cycle.

SmartZen isn’t an add-on — it’s integrated into Samurai Terra, giving growers a hidden edge that turns a strong base feed into a performance formula.

The Science Behind Samurai Terra

Samurai Terra isn’t just another soil feed—it’s crafted with stage-specific precision and enriched with SmartZen®, our proprietary biostimulant that accelerates photosynthesis, nutrient transport, and stress resistance. Each formula delivers clean, balanced macro- and micronutrients designed for soil's chemistry, ensuring plants stay robust from vegetative roots to flowering canopies.

Why It Matters

Samurai Terra isn’t just soil feed—it’s foundation for excellence.

 • Higher yields — SmartZen® amplifies energy use and nutrient efficiency for measurable results.
 • Stage-optimized growth — Tailored Grow and Bloom profiles provide the exact nutrition soil demands.
 • Cleaner performance — Mineral-based clarity means less build-up and more usable nutrients.
 • Resilient plants — Enhanced nutrition plus SmartZen® support stronger root health and bloom quality.
The Shogun Advantage

Water type: i

Are you using water straight from the tap, or R/O water?

"Hard" and "soft" are terms used to describe the quality of many water sources. Hard water has a high mineral content, which can cause hard, white lime scale to form on surfaces and growing equipment. Hard water may also have a high alkalinity and a high pH, meaning that considerably more acid is required to lower the pH in the hydroponic system to ideal levels. Soft water, by comparison, is a low mineral water source. Often rainwater is ‘soft’, while municipal water sources across the country range from very hard to soft, depending on where the individual city water supply is taken from. Other water types Some growers prefer to start with water which has been pre-treated to remove any chemicals, pathogens and other contaminates. RO (reverse osmosis), distilled water, filtered and bottled water are all options for small growing systems and those concerned with water quality. To understand your water type, simply immerse your EC/CF meter in your background water, read the display and select the applicable 'water type' or enter your own 'Custom' value.

How aggressive do you require your schedule to be? Select Light, Standard or Heavy Feeding

The grow room environment strongly influences the water and nutrient uptake of your plants. Please select your feeding type from the information provided below.

Light feeding for grow rooms where the leaf temperature is consistently above 25°C and the relative humidity is below 50%.

Standard feeding for grow rooms where the leaf temperature is consistently below 25°C and the relative humidity is above 50%.

Heavy feeding for grow rooms with LEDs and/or for closed-looped grow rooms utilising 'active cooling' with the injection of CO2.
